The bar of La Romita, Il Rondo, is located in a separate building across the road from the hotel. It is under the direction of Alberto's son Riccardo. Breakfast is served here daily for hotel guests. The bar reopens in the late afternoon and is a comfortable spot to relax over a coffee or aperitivo after a day of sightseeing in and around Montisi.

Il Rondo doubles as a comfortable bar with waitress service throughout the day, serving coffees, soft drinks, wines, draught beers, ice creams, and hot and cold snacks. There is a lively evening scene starting at about 7:00 p.m. with your choice of Riccardo's creative cocktails. There is also an enormous plasma screen television where local football fans can settle in for the ritual sessions when Italy is playing. Riccardo also has a good list of fine wines and spirits, including several whiskies, and organizes grappa tastings complete with distilling equipment.
